JULY 2012 – WE MADE IT! It’s the end of July and we have now completed our two new shorts, A VERY IMPORTANT CALL and THE END HAS NO END. We have started our first round of festival submissions and we'll be sure to keep you informed on how we get on.
JUNE 2012 – FIVE BY ONE Our two new films, THE END HAS NO END and A VERY IMPORTANT CALL, were both made in accordance with a concept we devised here at Panik Attak called FIVE BY ONE. FIVE BY ONE is a call to arms for all filmmakers who have the big ideas but lack the big bucks. It’s a framework that seeks to level the playing field and nurture resourcefulness, and these are the conditions…
Shoot one short film in one day, using one actor in one location, with a budget of one hundred pounds.
In order to ensure a quality film is produced, there are no restrictions for time spent in pre-production or post-production. You can borrow any resources you want without affecting the budget cap, but be mindful of how elaborate camera set-ups will eat into your time. Happy shooting!
